From London to Finnskogen

I'm in Norway!
And what an amazing start of my holiday here in Norway: Straight from London to Finnskogen... Good luck with finding a bigger contrast than this!
From all the noise, people, cars and buildings, to nothing but trees, trees and more trees..
All you can hear is the birds singing and your own thoughts. If you're lucky you might see the moose pass you too.
Or in our case, all we could hear was the raindrops falling...

It was really nice to be back. Haven't been up there since... hmm... I don't know, a long long time?! And I think I've missed it without even realizing it... If that's possible?!
The cabin was originally built in 1960, and the official name is (Norwegian readers: Don't laugh!) Ronketorpet.

I have so many good memories from this place. So it is kinda sad to see the place falling apart, and to see how badly the cabin has been robbed. Why can't people respect other peoples properties?!
From now on my whole family will start using it again, and we'll show them who the real boss is! "Mohahaha!"

My beautiful nephew, SO happy with his auntie giving him bread with chocolate on for breakfast. 

We agreed on not telling his parents...

And of course, after dinner: Yatzy!
If the saying about "bad luck in games equals good luck in love", was correct, I would be SO lucky in love... But something must have gone seriously wrong in my case, as I'm bad at all games, AND not really good at this thing called love either...

I ♥ Summer Holiday!

So far we've been on a girls trip to Brighton, done more than enough shopping, walking, eating and laughing. I'm having such a good time with my bestie! I'll never let her go back to Denmark!

Black, white, lace and headbands... Like we don't do enough matching during the week, we are now even matching each other! This week is FINALLY over! 6 days at work, with all the crazy people here in London....

What is the first thing on your mind after 9 hours at work? Running in the park?
Maybe not... I can come up with at least five other things that popped up in my mind before running.. But hey! The sun is shining, it is summer, I'm happy, and I will be fit in a couple of months! Hopefully...

Let me stay forever...

It's not official until it's on my blog, right?

9 months ago, I moved to London to follow my dream of living in London.
The plan was to stay here for one year, and then go back to Norway... Today I've made up my mind, and I'm staying for one more year!! I love it here, and I'm not ready to go home yet.

For me happiness is the most important thing in life, and I'm happy here. As easy as  that.
I wasn't happy in Norway, but I'm happy here. You know when people ask you how you're doing, and you answer "just fine, thanks"... That was me one year ago. Today I can answer "I'm happy", and actually mean it...

I hope my next year here in London will be just as good as the previous 9 months, and that my amazing friends and family back in Norway will continue their trips over the sea to see me every now and then, as to be away from them is the hardest thing about living in the UK.

I LOVE you all, miss you more than Big Ben is tall!
Haha! Yes, my humor is still as fantastic as before I moved here. Don't you worry guys.

I'm not really a huge fan of Primark, but I'm weak for one of their things... Their nightwear!
I can never get enough of cute pjs! This is the latest addition to my collection. SO cute, and so me!
My mum just laughed when she saw me looking at this one. I guess she knew this was the one for me...

Happy girl going to bed now, with her new pjs on... Sweet dreams folks! The alarm is set on 5am as usual, so sleep sleep sleep...

Just us girls

A great weekend is over... My mum and my Siss, is now back in Norway, and I'm on my own again.

But I've had a great time! They came over from Norway this weekend, to celebrate my sister getting married, and to look for a wedding dress.
As you probably can tell by the picture, SHE FOUND THE DRESS!! Here in London! I'm so happy I got the chance to be there, and to share that moment with her. Loved to see her face when she got the right dress on! Wow!!

Since my mum and my siss both got their own familys now, I never really get time with just them, jus us three, but this time I did. Just us girls... So nice!
Friday we went out for dinner and drinks. Elisabeth, a norwegian friend, joined us too. A great night out! And I got to wear my new H&M dress!! What do you think?! Felt nice to wear it, and we were really lucky with the temperature that night too, so no jacket needed!

I got a busy week ahead of me, so I really need to go to bed now. Thank you girls, for a great weekend! Come back, soon!
